On each activity you enter in the admin console, you can use the activity reminder option to prompt residents to attend the activity.
When you toggle that option on, it reveals the following settings.
How long before?
Use this option to indicate when the reminder should be sent out. You can type in the number and select the unit of time (minutes, hours, days).
The admin console automatically sends reminders as push notifications to residents using the SHARE app and as pop-up reminders on the TV for residents using LifeShare In-Room TV. You can choose to send the reminders as text message and phone call reminders as well. (Note: a resident must have a phone number listed on their resident account in the admin console to receive text or phone call reminders.)
Who Should Receive the Reminder?
You can hand-select individual residents using the Select a Specific Person option. You can also select entire communities using the Select a Community option - this works well for sending reminders out to an entire campus or care unit. You can also create custom communities to remind certain residents about events; for example, you can create a Book Club community with just the residents who are participating in your book club, and select that community to be reminded about upcoming Book Club meetings.
