Installing Your Spectrio On-Hold Player

*Do not throw the box away! You will need the Store Number and Device ID from the sticker when you call Spectrio Support to verify connectivity.
How to Install Your Player
Step 1: Locate the Toshiba Strata box – usually located in the back shop. Using a Phillips Head screwdriver, remove the screws in each corner of the box.
Step 2: Plug the included power adapter into the wall and attach the other end to the DC5V2A port on the back of the device.
The device should automatically power on & the BLUE POWER LED on the front of the player will illuminate. Power boot up will take approximately 1 minute.
Step 3: Connect one end of the audio cable to the AV jack on the back of the player. Connect the other end to the phone system OHM port.
Step 4: Locate your Store Number and Device ID on the sticker on top of the white box the device came in. Go to a store phone at the front desk and call Spectrio Support at 800-584-4653 (x6379) M-F 8a-6p Eastern.
The technician will verify that your network player is properly connecting to the store WiFi and that the music/message is playing.
THE INSTALLATION IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL YOU SPEAK WITH A SPECTRIO SUPPORT TECHNICIAN TO VERIFY CONNECTIVITY.
How to Mount Your Player
Once install is complete, place the cover back on the Toshiba Strata box and replace the screws in the corners.
Use the included peel & stick velcro to attach the remote to the player, and to mount your player to the wall near the Toshiba Strata box. Please see the final installed image below.
The volume can be adjusted later using the included remote control.
Preexisting On-Hold Cables/Hardware
If your location has a pre-existing on-hold device, you may be able to reuse some of the mounting hardware including the bracket. If the current audio cable is in good condition, attach the provided RCA to 3.5mm adapter to the end and plug into the new on-hold device.

How to Install Your Adapters
Step 1: Locate the Toshiba Strata box and Spectrio Player – usually located in the back shop.
Step 2: Plug 1 of the included TPL-407E adapters into the wall outlet and a network cable to the ethernet port of the adapter…
…and the other end of the cable to the ethernet port of the existing Spectrio media player.
Step 3: Locate the modem/router, typically at the front office, and connect the other TPL-407E adapter into the wall outlet and a network cable to the ethernet port of the adapter.
Connect the other end of the cable to the ethernet port (LAN port) of the router/modem.
Step 4: Call Spectrio support to confirm Internet connectivity and testing of OHM.
