In some communities, the resident stay may be more brief in nature, such as health centers where guests may be staying only for the duration of their rehabilitation needs. To help accommodate those situations where it is impractical to create and manage resident accounts, you can utilize guest accounts for Share In-Room TV.
When using a guest account on Share In-Room TV, the guest can access your community's slideshow; play music, games, podcasts, and faith programs; read the news; and control the settings on the Share player, such as text-to-speech. The only areas they will not see are Messages and Media. If a guest would like to access those features as well, please create a Resident Account for them and assign it to their room.
How to Use Guest Accounts
Guest accounts are 100% maintenance free - you do not need to do anything to set them up or assign them to rooms. Any room in your campus that does not currently have a resident account assigned will default to displaying a guest account on the Share In-Room TV player. As you move residents in and out of rooms, the guest account automatically takes over the player whenever the room has no resident account assigned.
