Pins and Projects - Editing Your Content
Editing Your Program
Navigate to the Dashboard in CommandCenterHD.
On the right side of the page, underneath the Happy/Sad buttons, click on the dropdown menu and choose Projects.
Your Dashboard page should now look something like this:
Then, in the Select a Project dropdown, choose the Project to edit.
This will populate the chosen Project and the Pins for each:
Each Pin will have three buttons:
- Red/Green Circle: This icon shows if your slide is active or not. Green is active and red is inactive
- Pencil: This is the edit button. Click on this icon to update text and replace images or videos. Once you’ve made your changes make sure to select the green check mark icon to save.
NOTE: When replacing an image or video is it important to find a file that is the same size as the original file. If you replace a portrait image with a landscape image the image will be squashed on the slide.
- Eye: This option will allow you to preview the slide.
- Next, click on the Pencil button on the Pin you’d like to edit.
If it is Text:
- A text box will appear to edit the chosen text.
- If you would like to edit the style of the text, click the Style Options link below the text box define:
- Font
- Format
- Color
- Size
- Text Align
- Then, once all edits are made, click the Green Checkmark button to the right.
NOTE: If you need to cancel any edits, click the Red Circle-Backslash button.
Finally, click the Eye button to preview the full slide, to verify the changes.
If it is an Image:
A Browse Images lookup field will appear.
Click on the grey Browse… button to the right of the field. This will open a window to choose the Image:
Click on the Image you want to replace the current one with, and click the green Select Media button. This will show a preview of the Image.
Then, click the Green Checkmark button to the right.
NOTE: If you need to cancel any edits, click the Red Circle-Backslash button.
Finally, click the Eye button to preview the full slide, to verify the changes.
