To set a Community PIN for the Share app, log into the Share admin portal and do the following:
- Open the campus community.
- Go to Settings.
- Click Mobile Access.
On this screen, you can set both campus and unit PINs. (Campus PINs give access to all units, and are best used by staff members.)
Tips for setting community PINs:
- The PIN is case-sensitive.
- Choose something that is easy to remember, type, and share.
- Changing a community PIN later will invalidate the previous PIN. Users who try to log in using the previous PIN will not be able to log in.
You can also click the Mobile Login Codes button on this screen to generate a handout with the PIN and a QR code that users can scan to log in.
The QR code in this handout can be scanned multiple times. Feel free to post the handout in your community to provide quick and easy access to your community data on the Share app.
