Change the Channel on your Device(s) in the Devices section or in the Channel Changer App.
Intro to Changing a Channel on a Device
In this article, we will review how to Change a Channel on a Device.
To associate a Channel with a Device, there are two ways in CommandCenterHD (CCHD) to do so. These options will be available based on the Permissions set for your User: Using the Change Channel Option in Devices or Using the Channel Changer App.
If you don't have either of these options available, talk with a System Administrator on your Account to determine the best way to gain access through permissions.
NOTE: When the Channel has been changed on a device, it takes roughly 15 - 20 minutes for the content to update in playback.
Changing a Channel in the Devices Section
1. Navigate to the Devices section by hovering over the Wrench Icon in the top right corner of CCHD:
2. In the Devices List, check the box to the left of the Device(s) to bring up the Change Channel button:
3. Click the Change Channel button. In the Window that populates, choose the Channel from the Channel dropdown:
4. Then, click Save Device. The Channel should now be associated with the Device under the Channel/Playlist column:
Using the Channel Changer App
1. Navigate to the Apps section in the bar at the top of the page in CCHD.
2. Search or navigate the Apps, and click on the Channel Changer App:
3. In the Devices List, check the box to the left of the Device(s) to bring up the Change Channel button:
3. Click the Change Channel button. In the Window that populates, choose the Channel from the Channel dropdown:
4. Then, click Save Device. The Channel should now be associated with the Device under the Channel/Playlist column:
