When a Cisco DMP is properly connected to a display and a network, upon powering up the device you should be greeted by the Cisco welcome screen like the one above.
If you are not seeing this screen, there a couple things to check:
- Make certain that your display and player are powered on and that your display is set to the right input.
- Make note of the front of your DMP- if you are seeing a solid red light this indicates that your device is unable to acquire an IP on your network. A few potential causes could be a bad network port, or perhaps your network does not allow DHCP access.
