“We interrupt normal programming for this special announcement!” Override is a new feature to Spectrio Engage scheduling that allows you to essentially pause your normally scheduled shows and media, and in their place schedule a different show or media item for a specified time. This is great to use for meetings and events when you would like to have your digital signage focus on that. You can use Override to cater a show to those needs during that time, leaving your original schedule intact and ready to resume once your meeting or event is over, without modifying the existing scheduling.
As seen in the image below, an Override Schedule (represented in purple) plays itself during its scheduled time, pre-empting lineups which were scheduled before it. Lineups can be moved up and down to change the order of play.
