The MachineFinder Display app allows you to show listings for your dealer group’s Used Equipment on any Spectrio display. Whether you want to show specific pieces of equipment, a few categories, or everything you have in Used, this app will make management a breeze.
Follow the instructions below to see how to set up the MachineFinder Display app on your devices.
Step 1: Click the Add button to create a new app instance.
Step 2: Type your MachineFinder Dealer Key and Dealer Number into the fields labeled as such. If you don’t know what your Dealer Key or Number are, please refer to your MachineFinder account page.
Once you’ve set your Dealer Key and Dealer Number, you’re free to save the app instance (using the blue checkmark button) and push an update to your screen. By default, the app will display sets of three listings at random.
Step 3: If you’d like to have more control over the listings that appear, use the Categories section to select the categories of listings you’d like to display. You can select as many categories as you want, and listings will continue to display at random in sets of three.
Step 4: For even more control, set the Min and Max Price fields. This will restrict the listings that can appear to those in the range you select. You can set just a Min Price, just a Max Price, or both.
Step 5: For the most control, use the Machine IDs field to select the exact pieces of equipment you’d like to display. You can enter as many machines here as desired; just remember to separate each Machine ID with a comma!
Note: Machine IDs do not interfere with Categories and Min/Max Price. If those fields are set and you enter a Machine ID that is outside the variables defined, the Machine ID will display as normal, as will the listings defined by Categories and Min/Max Price.
Step 6: Use the Theme field to define the visual style of listings. Ag & Turf will use a green and yellow styling, while Construction & Forestry will display as yellow and black.
Step 7: Use the Frequency button to determine how often you want the MachineFinder display app to play. Green represents a 1x setting, Yellow is 2x, and Red is 3x.
Step 8: Don’t forget to Save your changes by pressing the blue checkmark button when you’re done setting up the instance! You can create as many instances as you’d like to get more control or increase play frequency.
