Menu – Options and Commands Explained
AutoPlay After Sync
By turning this option on, the player can be used for unattended playback. As soon as the Windows Player App completes its first sync, it will begin playback after a 5-second countdown. Turning the feature off at any point during the countdown will interrupt the process. This option is useful in tandem with the Auto Launch feature.
Auto Launch Application
Enable this feature to have the application automatically launch as soon as the current user logs in.
Automatic Upgrades
The app now has the ability to upgrade itself to the latest version whenever a new version is released. We strongly recommend enabling this as it ensures compatibility with your current version of CommandCenterHD.
Automatic Scaling
Because the app can be run in a non-fullscreen window, it supports scaling mode which can be triggered by pressing the letter S. When scaling mode is on, the content should resize to the width of the window (or height for vertical content) while maintaining its aspect ratio.
Fullscreen
By pressing F, the window will change to fullscreen mode.
Kiosk Mode
By pressing CTRL + K, the application will enter fullscreen mode and cease acknowledging any keyboard or mouse input that isn’t interacting directly with content. The Menu will also be unavailable. The application cannot be closed when in this mode. The only way to exit kiosk mode is to hit CTRL + K again.
Developer Tools
To assist content developers, the Chrome developer tools are now available via the D key.
Blue Screen
All of the player logs can be viewed via the blue screen. Access it by hitting Ctrl + B. The blue screen is not available when the Windows Player App is in fullscreen mode.
Common Issue
- Content appears broken up and zoomed in.In many instances, Windows 10 will by default be set to 125-150% zoom. To change this you’ll go to the Windows Display settings and change the zoom option to 100%.
