MediaBridge Overview
MediaBridge Types
The MediaBridge is the foundation and intelligence behind your digital signage, security and distribution. It also provides you with the flexibility to adapt your network to any operating system, application, or content source. There are 3 versions of MediaBridge we provide to our customers:
Virtual MediaBridge
If you’ve purchased the VMWare Bridge Version, your MediaBridge lives virtually instead of being a physical device. You will need to install the VM image in your VM environment before the MediaBridge and devices can be configured. To download your MediaBridge, simply visit our support page, and find the MediaBridge section on the bottom right corner. Click the “Download MediaBridge” option. Account Name, Account Pin, and Zone ID are required during the first time setup of your MediaBridge.
Physical MediaBridge
If you’ve purchased the Hardware MediaBridge, your MediaBridge lives on a physical device. Click Here to access the Hardware configuration guide. Account Name, Account Pin, Zone ID, and Web Cache Key are required during the first time setup of your MediaBridge.
Combo Player Configuration
You’ve purchased the an Spectrio Smart Player, meaning the MediaBridge lives on your Media Player. Click Here to access the Combo Player configuration guide. Account Name, Account Pin, Zone ID, and Web Cache Key are required during the first time setup of your device.
Where Do I Learn About Configuration?
The CommandCenterHD Configuration* page is where you set the majority of your site settings. In this article, we will be covering the different things that can be done on the CommandCenterHD Configuration page. (From the CommandCenterHD Dashboard hover over the wrench in the top orange bar and in the drop down select Configuration or simply click on the wrench icon.)
*The configuration section of CommandCenterHD can only be accessed by users with Administrator privileges. If you need to edit the Configuration, please contact your CommandCenterHD system administrator.
