The admin console allows you to track which residents participate in the activities you enter. You can run reports to see participation across activities over time, helping you to know which activities are most popular in your community. You can also run reports to see a specific resident's activity participation over time, helping you to see patterns in their engagement level. Participation also appears on the resident's calendar in the admin console and in the mobile app.
Entering Participation Info
After an activity has been saved, a Participation button appears at the top of the activity screen.
Click the Participation button to reveal the activity's participation screen. Click Add Participant to select the participants who attended/participated in the activity.
When adding participants, you can use the Prev/Next buttons to scroll through an alphabetical listing of your residents, or you can use the search box to search by name. (Please note: name searches must be exact. For example, searching for Bill will find residents named Bill, but it will not find residents named William.) When you have selected the residents, click OK.
Next, you have the option of indicating whether each resident's participation level was Active or Passive.
Click Save when you have finished entering participant info.
Reporting on Participation
You can run two types of participation reports - Participation by Activity and Participation by Resident. Both reports are run from the Activities screen in the admin console.
Participation by Activity Report
The Participation by Activity Report displays participation totals for all activities that have participants listed within the selected date range. Simply select the date range you are interested in, and click Run. The report will then appear onscreen showing the date, activity name, activity type, wellness dimensions, total number of participants, and totals for active vs passive participation.
You can click on any of the activities listed in the report to see a list of the residents who attended, their participation level, and the care unit where they are listed.
Use the Export to CSV button to export the report as a .csv file, which you can then edit in the spreadsheet program of your choice.
Participation by Resident Report
The Participation by Resident report shows all of the activities that a specific resident has attended within the selected time period. It includes the date of the activity, the activity name, and the resident's participation level.

Participation on the Resident's Calendar
The resident's calendar in the admin console and in the mobile app shows a checkmark icon to indicate that a resident participated on an activity.
To view the resident's calendar in the admin console, open the Directory, choose Residents, and select the resident. Then click Calendar to view the resident's calendar.
When the resident or family manager logs into the mobile app under their account, they can view the resident's participation on the Calendar.
