When a resident leaves your community, you may wish to move them out of their room and disable their resident account. This helps keep your resident list up to date and also helps avoid sending activity reminders to residents who no longer live at your community.
Moving Out a Resident
- Open the community where that resident was living.
- Open the Directory.
- In the Census section, select the room where that resident is assigned.
- Choose Move Out.
- The Move Out confirmation message includes an option for "please remove this resident from my list of active residents." If the resident is leaving your community permanently, you will want to click on that option to select it.
- Click Yes.
Disabling a Resident Not in a Room
If your community is not using rooms in Share, you can still disable the resident accounts when they leave your community so that you don't continue to send them activity reminders.
- pen the community where that resident was living.
- Open the Directory.
- In the Residents section, select the resident's account.
- Open Settings.
- At the bottom of the Profile section, click the Enabled option to switch it off.
- Click Save.
